Pick 3 fantasy league

Sorry about posting so late... i have had a rather eventful week and have not been able to get online.... that being said.. i believe no one picked Kasey Kahne to win... so no bonus points... so here are my picks for this week

Winner- I gotta go with the man who owns the place, Jimmie Johnson. Lowes Motor Speedway, Lowe's sponsorship, he has to win this week, I mean doesn't he always at Lowe's? I think its a conspiracy.

Chasing the Chase - only 2 points out of the chase, bad luck last week, but he is gonna turn it around this week, as he ran somewhat well judging from the results (no speed channel at my parents house) i gotta go with South Bend native, LaSalle High School alum Ryan Newman. I wonder if Newman was friends with the guy whose butt I kicked in wrestling back in high school?

No Chance - If i had time,I would make pieces of paper and pick this out of a hat. Lets go with Kyle Petty has anyone else every wondered what it feels like to be kyle petty? I mean his dad was the greatest racer ever in Nascar, he was the king for crying out loud. Then you have kyle, who seems to be lucky to sniff the top 20. Gotta feel for the guy. However, he seems like one of the nicest guys in NASCAR from what i have seen.

Coke-A-Cola 600 picks

Winner: Carl Edwards

Chasing the Chase : Travis Kvapl ( I dont think he will win, but he will still finish solid)

Loser: Since a lot of guys first have to quilify I will post choices: 1st choice: Stanton Barrett 2nd choice: Patrick Carpentier 3rd: JJ Yeley. Between one of those guys someone is going to have to quiliffy.

Coke-A-Cola 600 picks

After much research and thought (about 10 minutes) I have come up with the following.

Winner: Kyle Busch looked very good in the All-Star race until engine problems took him out. He is having a championship like season so far, but this is a 600 mile event, and the way he likes to mash the gas, I have a feeling his engine will toss up the white flag and give up late in the race. So he's out. Jr.? He looked ok at the All-Star race, led a few laps, but in the last 5 600's he has only two top 10's, and an average finish of 19.8. I am in a big enough hole in this competition, so I can't be picking a guy who doesn't finish very high. Carl Edwards? 3 600's, two top 5's, average finish of 7th. How can you not pick him? Easy, Jimmie Johnson in the last 5 600's he has 1 pole, 5 top 10's, 4 top 5's, and 3 wins, giving him an average finish of 3rd. He hasn't been stellar this year, but he owns this track.

Chasing the Chase: I noticed that the creator of this game has once again picked Ryan Newman. Here is the lowdown for Ryan at the 600. 3 poles, and two top 5 finishes. Unfortunately for Ryan, he also has two dnf's giving him an average finish of 23.8, so I can't go with Ryan. I will go with. Should I go with the guy who won the All-Star race, and won the 600 a few years ago, Kasey Kahne? I probably should, but won't. I will go with a guy who started 34th last and finished 4th, the previous year started 23rd, and brought home a 10th place finish. Gixxer knows who I am talking about, I will go with Reed Sorenson to have another top 10 finish, and get me some points.

No Chance: To get this all you have to do is figure out who will blow up first. I mentioned previously that Kyle might not make it to the end, but if I chose him here, and he won the race it would kill my points. Newman has two dnf's, but like Kyle, I can't go with him. I gotta go with a guy who has an average finish pretty low, 32.8 is pretty low in my opinion, 2 dnf's in 4 starts, I will go with Johnny Sauter for my loser. There is a very good chance of him wrecking whenever he is in the race, and he has an extra 100 miles to wreck in.
